The 2025 lunch and AGM was held at the Royal Scots Club in April 2025.
Future of the League
At the 2025 meeting the President of the League, Diane Ross MBE, confirmed to the membership that it would be the final AGM and the League will be winding down in the next few months.
A history of the League is being written by Ruth Burns and will be published in a booklet and sent to all members before a final afternoon tea to be held at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) on Friday the 10th of October 2025. Information about that event will be enclosed in the booklet.
Any funds remaining after the winding down will be transferred to a Lothian Health Board Charity and will be ring fenced for the use by student nurses for education and registered nurses for continuing education.
No new Memberships will be available.
The web site will continue until May 2026.
